The Lodge @ Upper Gelli. We had been trying to get to Upper Gelli since October, but with various lockdowns and circumstances beyond everyone’s control meant that our trip was postponed again and again. BUT we arrived on the 17th December having just escaped being put into Tier 3 that week. We felt so lucky and hugely grateful to have made it here finally. The Lodge gave us 3 days of peace and tranquility and some much needed R&R. Whilst the stay was cut short by the sudden change of events (lockdown for Wales and Tier 4 for the South East) we still leave feeling restored and hugely grateful to have 3 days of bliss. We will be back soon to finish the remaining part of our stay in this wonderful piece of luxury.
